Newton's Three Laws of Motion!
Sir Isaac Newton
Says:
Newton's First Law Of Motion Says:
An object at rest, remains at rest, and an object in motion, remains in motion at a constant speed and in a straight line unless acted upon by and unbalenced force.
For example:
In this picture, the cue stick (the object in motion) is hitting the cue ball (the object at rest) causing the balls to move in seperate directions.
Newton's Second Law Of Motion Says:
The acceleration of an object depends on the mass of the object and the amount of force applied.
The empty cart is easier to push
because it has less mass.
But, the cart full of
coins is harder to push because
it has more mass, so it
requires more strength.
Newton's Third Law Of Motion Says:
Whenever one object exerts a force on another, the second exerts an equal and oppsite force on the first.
This little girl is exerting a force on the water and the water is pushing back on the little girl.
(her fists push through the water and the water pushes back)
